The Leaflandic Weather Forecasting Service (LWFS) is the official and main weather and meteorology resource for the United States of Leafland. It was founded in late-2025 just after Christmas where it was planned to make a report for Storm Amy which left only minor damage. However, the report for Storm Amy was scrapped as they swiftly moved to report on Storm Goretti – the strongest storm to ever hit the United States of Leafland and the strongest storm to hit Guernsey since the Great Storm of 1987, which Storm Goretti still was stronger by roughly 10 mph. The damage conceived by the storm was jaw-dropping, mainly because a secure rock part of a granite wall was cleanly ripped out and travelled roughly 10 metres before stopping.
